“We have spent a wonderful relaxing week as couple in this architectural beautiful wooden beachhouse at Avana close to Muri in June 2018. A lovely view over a part of the lagoon, a nice terrace for reading and dreaming, a well equipped kitchen to discover Polynesian cooking, aesthetically furnished living and bed rooms, with a small pool few steps from the beach away describe this nice individual eco-hideaway. Even that swimming is not recommended in front of the house due to currents Muri and its sandy beaches is only 5 minutes driving time away. Suzanna and Robert, who made this house and who are living in its groundfloor are cordial and affectionate hosts, who surprise you with fruits and herbage from their eco-garden and inform you together with her son Robert with pleasure about todays daily Polynesian life, the nature over and under water and recommended activities on Rarotonga, including the best snoorkling places. Their cordial invitation to share a fresh Polynesian Tuna dinner with their family was wonderful. We strongly recommend Kaireva Beach house for a relaxing stay and base camp to discover Rarotonga.
