“Initially you are wow’d by the view, but the closer you look, the more you realise just how special and perfect the whole house is. Every detail about the house has a purpose and suits the island life. Susanna, Robert and Robert Jnr were amazing! They gave advice on what to see and do. Weather you are cooling off in the pool or drinking wine on the deck looking at the Pacific Ocean you are living the relaxed life”.

The house and the surroundings are amazing! We loved to play at the pool, and to swim in the lagoon. The view from the balcony is amazing and we would love to come back one time. The only thing we missed was a washingmachine. Soon more on the blog!”

“To Our Eco family, guys you rock. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay at your lovely abode. Robert – it was fabulous chatting of the lagoon and fishing and the lads enjoyed the interaction. The pool was such a bonus and so wonderfully refreshing. Great times had on the beautifully designed deck and such stunning weather, garden and hosts. Many many thanks for your hospitality. To any party wanting all the boxes ticked and a secluded holiday hideaway this should be your first port of call”.

The kids loved the pool, the shower you could walk straight into from the deck and the lesson on how to climb a coconut tree, we loved the stunning view, the aroma of redwood timber and the architecture of the house“.

“Our destination was Bora Bora and we travelled via Raro from Sydney, staying 1 night in another hotel (nothing to write home about) before flying to Tahiti and then 5 nights in Kaireva Beach House on our way back After picking up our rental car, we stopped at CITC to load up some grocery before the 15 mins drive to Kaireva Beach House. It was an easy drive except we couldn’t see the house when we pulled up at Kaireva Drive. We had to walk down to locate it. Once we were there, we were welcome by Susanna and Robert(s). Susana showed us the house, simply ‘Wow’. It looked stunning in the photos but there is still the ‘wow’ factor when you walked into it. we just loved sitting on the deck, that’s where we spent most of our time until it’s really dark at night. Even though we sat out there fore pretty much the whole day, we didn’t notice Susanna or Robert being around, so it was totally private. We just realised they were pretty much always there when our little boy went bother them (a lot). the beach is just 5 or maybe 10 steps away, it is on the rocky side so reef shoes are recommended. Our little one always played there, swam there, even went fishing with Robert at the jetty. The tuna sashimi Robert and Susanna prepared was top notch (didn’t know how they got hold of wasabi in this little remote island), so fresh. the home grown exotic fruit basket was delicious, so as the vegetables and herbs that Susana gave us the other day. the pool wasn’t huge but adequate for a quick dip, Robert took extreme care of it by cleaning it everyday. Sitting on the hammock was the best way to watch the little one playing in the pool. The famous mooring fish café was only 2 mins drive away, highly recommended. Muri beach (and the night market) is 5 mins drive away, it’s quite crowded there so not too much of our liking (hence we were glad that we didn’t book into Pacific Resort which was our second choice). We did like one of the restaurants that Robert recommended – Beluga, a little gem at the other side of the island. We didn’t snorkel outside the house but saw a lot of different fishes by just standing in the water. We did venture out to the beach next to the Rarotogan hotel which was a marine reserve and apparently with the best snorkelling. It was beautiful there. it was a brilliant stay, the prefect location with an amazing beach house – and i’d say Keireva Beach House is simply the best in Raro! Pure Bliss.”
