“Like a tree house, lots of vistas from many rooms, the shower outlook being the highlight! As Sussana and Robert’s own home it has lots of quality, flare elements us airbnbers love. Location: it’s described well in the listing, I would argue it’s not really Muri beach but a delightfully semi-isolated, private home with ok beach access near Muri beach. Robert was on point for our stay and very helpful and generous.”

“A fabulous location away from the Muri throng of hotels and activity. Felt like we had our own little beach and slice of heaven. Home is tidy, well equipped, wonderfully built and crafted in wood and beautifully appointed towards the lagoon making the most of sun and shade (much appreciated when those temperatures get up there).
Thanks so much Susanna and Robert for a wonderful stay. We absolutely loved staying in your beautiful home and Robert and Robert Jr’s ‘nothing’s too much trouble’ hospitality was outstanding and a delight. Thanks to them both. We look forward to coming back very soon. Guy and Biddy.”

“We loved our stay at the villa. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathroom spacious and practical and the bed very comfortable. This is a great location from which to adventure around Rarotonga and our hosts were extremely generous in sharing their advice.”

“Little corner of paradise by Avana harbour. The hosts Susana, Robert and Robert Jnr were so welcoming, the house is beautifully crafted, super clean and has everything you need, and the location is just wonderful. Loved the little touches like Mango, Avocado, and Paw Paw from the garden, the house is really well appointed, and beach towels reef shoes, kayaks etc provided. The plunge pool and hammock were amazing, as is the little beach out front. A kayak on high tide down the lagoon is a must-do! We loved our stay and will definitely return!”

What an experience, this is an amazing stay! It is one of those magical places you wish you could keep a secret, as once discovered, there is no point staying anywhere else. This exquisite home on the beach has everything and more. Susanna and her family are the most wonderful hosts. It is a very private location and we were spoilt with comfort, cleanliness and hospitality second to none. From the local turtle and private jetty, you hardly need to leave. Susanna has thought of everything for an amazing stay. We can’t wait to go back 🙂“.

“Brilliant house and location with a special section of beach on the lagoon. Loved being able to get sun at various parts of the beach, pool and house throughout the day. Susanna was also super helpful throughout our stay. Would stay again for sure :)”

“Immaculate beach front property, pool, well set up with quality kitchen and everything you need to cater for yourselves. Owner on-site provided fresh herbs and fruit and the most amazing fish and sashimi platter, we were very well spoiled. They had a beautiful property and big welcoming and generous hearts would highly recommend!”

“Gorgeous location, and very high-quality. Kaireva is at the very north end of the “lagoon” part of Raratonga / Muri Beach. It’s a two story house made from a beautiful red cedar wood. Excellent joinery, big kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, massive three panel slider to let the cool wind in, but with bug screens to keep any insects out. Cute little plunge pool, hammock, and steps right down to the beach, plus an adjacent jetty to jump off into deeper water and swim/snorkel over the the little lagoon islands. Kitchen is well equipped and we cooked most nights. Lots of nearby road stands, and if you’re lucky, the fishermen at Mooringhouse Cafe 300m away will sell you their afternoon tuna as it comes in. Hosts are great. Susanna provided a constant supply of herbs from the garden, and Robert taught us how to husk coconuts and make coconut cream (it’s labor intense!) Only warnings would be for Raro in general: lots of roosters and barking dogs everywhere on the island, so maybe bring earplugs if you’re in the lower bedroom. Upper bedroom facing the ocean has plenty of white noise. Looking forward to staying here again.”
