“This home is beautifully crafted and was a pleasure to stay in. The setting is private and has beautiful views of the lagoon, sea and nearby islet. The hosts Susana and Robert were very helpful and generous and made us feel very well-looked after in every respect. Highly recommended.”

“What a beautiful place!! Immaculately clean, relaxing & dreamy. We stayed here as a family of 5 & although absolutely beautiful, potentially not the most child friendly for younger children as the home is a little high maintenance & the walk to restaurants a little far for our youngest. Still a wonderful stay in a beautiful home.”

“My wife and I were blown away by the hospitality of Susana and Robert. From the long chats to fresh fruits and island delicacies they shared with us, it was perfect! The location was also incredible with the proximity to the motus that are just a short paddle away. The home is close to all the restaurants of Muri Beach, but far enough to feel a world away. The home itself had everything we needed and was well designed & stunning! The fragrance of the natural wood inside was comforting. They also have a beautiful and sweet doggie named Zowie that we fell in love with! Will be back for sure!”

“Susana and Robert are excellent hosts, so ready to please and even asked for feedback in order to make the experience even better for future guests. We would have loved going out into the lagoon by kayak but the tides didn’t always suit when having to go along to the neighbouring guest house to hire from them. Susana’s and Robert’s place would really excel if they had their own kayaks on the beach. The lagoon was wonderful to swim in, and the pool just made it that bit extra to enjoy. Lynda walked to church from Susana’s and Robert’s place as it was just over the road. Would recommend this place to other tourists. Kind regards. Lynda, Joe, Hilary and Jim.”

“Lovely beach outlook with Motutapu Island in full view and handy to Muri restaurants and cafes. The house is beautiful and exactly right for us as two couples. Susana and Robert are perfect hosts. Nearby jetty adds some interest for those who like to watch the daily fishing activity.”

“Robert and Susana‘s home was a delight, and so were they! They let us drop our bags off early and made sure we would stay dry with the rain on our short walk to Muri Beach. The house is so peaceful and perfect on a rainy day as well. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of bubbles watching the rain. Robert and Susana checked in regularly when we were leaving or coming back to make sure we had everything we needed and they were lovely to chat to. We loved hearing about their story about how the house was built. You feel right at home here, it’s a perfect sanctuary! We can’t wait to come back some day!”
