Decent air conditioning, well equipped kitchen & BBQ, pool plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture and just steps from the beach. Comfortable beds & windows with insect screens creating a lovely breeze as an alternative to air conditioning. Susanne & Robbie were perfect hosts.”

Also, the house was stunning, even better than the pictures — on the beach, a nice cool pool to jump in, kayaks/paddle boards/snorkeling equipment to use, a spacious and welcoming home. WOW. Robert and Susana were extremely friendly and made our stay on Raro that much more enjoyable — they provided us with wonderful recommendations, shared fresh sashimi with us and let us join in on their traditions to bring in the new year! “Un havre de paix sur l’entrée du lagon de Muri sublimé par des hôtes au petit soin tout en étant très discrets. Nous avons adoré parcourir le lagon en kayaks / paddle, pêcher ou faire du snorkling du ponton juste devant la maison. Nous avons même eu la chance de voir une baleine sauter à l’entrée de la passe alors que ce n’était plus la saison. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve en famille, merci Robert et Susan!! “We had a beautiful stay at Kaireva Beach House, Robert & Susana are both truly lovely people, and nothing was a problem during our stay. The home is beautifully built and very tastefully styled. The location was tranquil and peaceful with a stunning view and our boys (11 & 14) loved the beach access straight out into the lagoon and onto the private jetty. Was excellent having kayaks and stand-up paddle boards at easy reach. As a family, we all felt it would be somewhere we would return to holiday again.”

“A beautiful and well-appointed house overlooking the Muri Lagoon, one of the most scenic locations on Rarotonga.  The house a very short drive or a longer walk to all of the activities, restaurants, and hotels in Muri Beach.  It’s also possible to walk down the road to the point at the entrance to the lagoon – wonderful for photography or watching the waves. Robert and Susana were very accommodating and helpful hosts, including accommodating an unusual request to setup a ham radio station on their beach. They also left us some delicious fruits and vegetables on arrival. The house is beautifully constructed with all of the necessary amenities for a week-long stay including a dishwasher, air conditioning, and Starlink internet. With all of the beautiful natural wood in the home, note it is important to take careful note of any water or spills that happen and promptly clean them as the natural wood isn’t as durable as we may be used to in our own homes. Overall, highly recommended.”
