The neighbourhood

We named the house Kaireva, as it is the name of this blessed land. A land that hugs the sea from the ocean to the quiet lagoon, right at the end of Muri, in front of the last little motu.

Kaireva Beach House

This is the sacred ancient place where the traditional Polynesian Vakas left for New Zealand 1,300 years ago.

Avana Harbour is very close to shops and activities which are located in Muri, just a few minutes walking.

There is also two “Marae” or sacred old places where local chiefs use to meet and discuss family and land matters.

Mountain lovers will enjoy many inland roads and paths of glorious peace and luscious vegetation around the neighbourhood.
